Gozo Shioda (10th Dan) is one of well-known students of O' Sensei Morihei Ueshiba, and the founder of Yoshinkan Aikido. He is also known as the "Superman" of Aikido. Slightly taller than O' Sensei, Shioda have incredible strength and techniques. He is also the first to develop an intensive training program for the Tokyo Police Department, thus Aikido is common in police combat fight.

Aikido Youth Meet
RP Aikido have participated in the Annual Youth Meet for the third. And all time, RP Aikido clinches the champion cup. In 2010, we included junior blue belt to join the demo competition in order to prove that even the beginners can do it. Here is the comparsion of last year to this year. Shihan Morihiro Saito
Shihan Saito (9th Dan) was a student (uchideshi) of O' Sensei. His expertise is on Jo and Bokken kata. He passed away on 13 May 2002, being one of the important students of Ueshiba. His son, Hitohiro Saito Sensei. In 1981, Sensei Philip came to Iwama too visit him and the second doshu
Christian Tissier
Christian Tissier (7th Dan) is one of the top leading Aikido Masters, representing Aikikai France, and also a technical advisor to the Federation of France Aikido. He was awarded 7th Dan on 1997 by Kisshomaru Ueshiba (second doshu) in the presence of his son Morihei Ueshiba. This shows that he is an important figure in the world of Aikido.
